Musical Imagery

When I first started to delve into the world of recording, I was faced with a few questions to myself.
Firstly, did I want to appeal to the masses, did I want to create a catchy tune that had people humming it for days?
Did I want to connect with other musicians, join a band and tour the world?
And finally, when decided on the route I would take, how would I balance life and the endless hours creating said music?
Well, in reply, I knew early on that I was not intending to be the next one-hit wonder. My vision of what I wanted to create came from deep inside. I wanted my intended listeners to experience the connection to the World as I did. Creating music with this in mind opens up the ability of the listener to see for themselves the images held within the tracks, waiting to take them on a journey.
From the start, I knew that what I wanted to do was work solo, with one clear vision. From my early years of playing music, I knew that playing in a band was not what I wanted.
The decisions were made, and I set a course to discover where the music would take me. Thankfully, a supportive family helps ease the endless recording process, and the encouragement I have received empowers me to seek new lands of imagery in music.
