Dear Reader, I am thrilled that you happened to stumble upon my story, allow me to elaborate… It begins with my earliest memory, my fourth birthday, way, way back in 1932 and follows the times in my life which I deemed to be the happiest, saddest, most frightening (there were a few) and most enlightening. I experienced the terrifying pre-war escalation and the post-war devastation, whereupon I was forced to relocate hundreds of miles away as a result of prejudice, it is at this point of the story that the dauntingly imposing abode of Foad-Aghy appears… A house which has sat uninhabited for many years, which leads to the question why?
